It is not necessary for you to attend all off site lectures ,which will be held several times a week. You may simply apply the principles of Action Learning where you are on the job location and review the lecture material.

Students Responsibilities

The student is responsible for all academic work through participation in Action Learning and/or Traditional Academic Coursework and completing all project work approved by his/her Business Mentor.


The student is responsible to:

• Become part of a team (member, representative of the Business Mentor and Academic Advisor)

• Receive training on the action learning process

• Complete application

• Help determine potential projects / coursework in which student enrolls

• Create new business teams as needed

  • Draft experts as needed

  • Gather research from internal and external sources

• Conduct a self-evaluation on all outputs as well as a post evaluation incorporating all recommendations from the assessment team and academic advisor.

Business Mentor Responsibilities

This is a volunteer, operational position and requires the following commitment:

The Business Mentor works closely with the students and Academic Advisor to ensure the integrity of the operational project in all of its phases. In addition, the Business Mentor

• Receives training from the Academic Advisor

• Sponsors the operational project work of student.

• Makes sure that action learning and academic coursework is being performed during the operational project work.

Academic Advisor Responsibilities

The academic advisor works closely with the students and the Business Mentor to ensure the integrity and proper completion of any and all assigned tasks during the course of the academic program.
